Throughout the course, students will cover all bases of musical theatre, studying the skills and techniques associated with different eras. Termly workshops conducted by West End and Broadway patrons further enhance the learning experience.

 

Practical training and assessments are emphasised, ensuring students are prepared for the demands of the industry. The Creative Industries module provides an opportunity to work with writing and production teams, allowing students to workshop and develop a new piece of musical theatre.

 

Training in dance, drama, music, ensemble singing, music theory, sight reading, and understanding the industry are all integral parts of the curriculum. The academy offers a full-time diploma program in musical theatre for students aged 16 and above, as well as a main program catering to ages 7-21.

 

As part of the academy's commitment to supporting students' professional growth, recording sessions with James Huish for the "Introducing" channel are provided. Students also receive assistance in building their spotlight portfolio, including professionally filmed and edited showreels and voice reel recordings.

 

For those seeking specialised training, the academy offers a bespoke learning program. Rep Prep, is designed to cater to individual students' needs. This ensures that students receive personalised attention and can improve at an even pace across all disciplines.
